About me, the author:

My name is Evelyn, former interior decorator, I used to run a cute shop/workroom in one of the most beautiful places in Milan: i Navigli. Still in love with home design and décor, in the past years I’ve been cultivating my passions for art and fashion, blending them into a vintage/bohemian inspired accessories collection named Maylily, that I founded in 2004. This collection, featuring handmade/vintage jewelry and accessories (and home decoration supplies coming soon!) is avaible on the official e-shop

I love flea markets, vintage finds, hand-homemade stuff and I’m obsessed by stars, peacocks, dressforms, bird cages and everything robin’s egg blue/turquoise. I love cooking for people I love, taking a lot of pictures, reading, painting, hanging out with friends and traveling around the world.

I recently moved from the big town (Milan) to Como, a small and cute town on the lake, looking for a softer and simpler life.
